San Nicola Arcella has 10 km of coastline ranging from organised lidos to completely hidden coves. From the flat, drive to the Arcomagno beach parking, then walk down to the arch. Giorni di apertura e biglietti (solo online) su arcomagnocalabria.it. Check opening days and buy tickets online before you go.
Tickets are sold online only: buy yours in advance at arcomagnocalabria.it. Without a ticket you will not be admitted. Time on the beach inside the arch is limited to 30 minutes; the walking trails are not counted.
- Arcomagno — the natural arch and hidden lagoon. The most photographed spot in Calabria.
- Marinella & Blue Bay — organized lido, calm water, good for families and snorkeling.
- Carpino Beach — dramatic grey cliffs against clear water. Free swimming.
- Dino Island — boat trip from Praia a Mare (15 min). Blue grotto and Norman history.
